Some of our immediate needs for funding:
o Mass Land Trust Coalition Membership
o Land Trust Alliance Membership
o Year’s subscription to QuickbooksÒ Online
o Membership to GrantstationÒ
o Legal Interns stipends
o Grant Writing Interns stipends
o Computer equipment for interns and staff
o Web design, implementation and hosting
o Lease of office space
o Legal filing and brief preparation costs
o Salaries for full-time staff
o Acquisition funds for land in peril
o Legal fees for panel attorneys for our legal advocacy and representation programs
o Travel costs for staff viewing potential sites for acquisition and legal action or advocacy
The following Charter Grant designations have been authorized:
“Charter Grants”
Charter Memberships: $1,000+
Gold Charter Memberships: $2,500+
“Founders Grants”
$5,000+ grants for specific operational activities:
1. Amicus Founder Grants for legal intern stipends (x2).
2. Development Founder Grants for development intern stipends (x2).
3. Technology Founder Grants for purchasing, integrating and maintaining technology (x2).
“Enterprise Grants”
$15,000+ grants for specific operational goals:
1. Web Development Grant for the design and buildout of a web presence. (x2)
2. Travel Grant for the travel costs associated with development and program implementation. (x2)
“Legacy Grants”
For the intitial hiring and retention of full-time staff – $150,000+ (x3)
“Endowment Grants”
As seed money for the establishment of the revolving purchasing fund - $250,000+
